Kristen’s passion for animals began at an early age, inspiring her to pursue a lifelong career in animal care. She earned her Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Animal Biology from the University of Alberta in 2011, followed by completing the Veterinary Technology program at NAIT.
Her career started in wildlife rehabilitation, where she dedicated five years to caring for injured and orphaned wildlife in Alberta. After moving to Vancouver Island with her husband in 2020, Kristen worked with the BCSPCA before joining Kinsol Veterinary Clinic in 2024 as our Rehabilitation Technician.
Outside the clinic, Kristen enjoys camping, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband and young son. At home, she keeps busy with her two dogs and three chickens.
