Dr. Janet Sunstrum graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2008 and is a fear free certified veterinarian. She has been practicing small animal medicine in the Cowichan Valley since 2009.
Volunteer work Dr. Janet has been involved with includes Global Vets in Peru, Vets for Pets in Victoria, and the Canadian Animal Assistance Team. She also does some work for the College of Veterinarians of BC.
Dr. Janet has special interests in preventive and internal medicine. She loves to help foster a long-lasting, loving relationship with your pet.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family enjoying biking, skiing and surfing. She lives in Cobble Hill with her husband, son and daughter. Her fur children include Rory the duck toller, Dorito the cat and some heritage chickens.
